Buying the House

Main Room

We have our sights on an old house in our home town. It will need some elbow grease, and a few fixtures. We need help in raising the money to purchase the house and fix it up so we can use it for our new store. We are hoping to gain friends and family support to help get us started. We currently have an investor willing to get the ball rolling with a $500.00 start-up.

The room in this picture is the largest room in the house which will contain most of our merchandise. We have nearly enough to purchase the house. The owner came down to a good price. However, Peggy is not currently working as we march toward opening our own store so we are in desparate need of some friends and family donations. We need about $20,000 to put down on the house to make the payments within reach. We will be looking for donations of paint and building materials after we get the house. Please think about pressing the donate button to the right and sending any amount you can. Thanks.

We will keep track of all donations and hope to reinburse investors at some point down the road. Look back for blogs in the future for reports on the number of investors who have contributed to our venture and accounting reports of the financial support we have accumulated. Watch us grow with your help.

November 5, 2011 update: Investments so far: 2,500.00. Thanks everyone.

January 31, 2012 update: We have made an offer and have gotten a good price. We go to see the banker this week, but would like more money too put down so the payments are more managable. Please help. Thanks.

February 25, 2012 update. We have another $300.00 in donations bringing our total of investments up to $2,800.00. Thank you everyone. We see the banker on Tueday the 28th to see whether or not we can get the loan. I'll post when we know.
